Description

Develop and assist in the integration of instruction material for the {designated phase} of the P-12 Education Sector, to facilitate changes to teaching and learning practice to ensure improved student performance and help deliver student learning outcomes of an internationally recognised standard. Develop requirements for textbooks, workbooks and other instructional material for the {designated phase} in accordance with the identified goals of the Sector and Ministry standards to ensure successful transition into the next phase of education. Assist in the successful integration of e-learning methods in the design of subject material; ensure the successful monitoring and management of textbooks and other licensed instructional material for the {designated phase} of the Sector. Work closely with publishing houses and instructional equipment manufacturers and retailers to build relationships that ensure the efficient coordination and cost effective supply of materials. Recommend changes that will improve teaching and learning practice that help facilitate a change in culture and positive impact on results in the {designated phase}. Coordinate to ensure a continuum of materials across the phases in the P-12 Education Sector
