Description
To develop and manage the school planning process, evaluating the current and future needs for school development ensuring successful consolidation and ratification of school plans aligned with Education Council objectives. *Manage the strategic planning of new school development by establishing the number and location of new schools across the Emirate and ensure plans for schools are aligned against Education Council objectives; *Oversee the revision and monitoring of all land use planning and land policies that will affect school construction and liaise with municipalities to ensure local interests are accounted for; *Oversee the periodical evaluation of current and future school planning needs and ensure incorporation into strategic plans for growth of the Sector; *Manage the consolidation of plans for all schools and ensure the complete alignment with Education Council objectives; *Manage and ensure the thorough evaluation of school needs particular to demographics and specific educational needs; *Oversee the integral participation of all relevant stakeholders to ensure positive direction in planning deliverables and to keep a strong affiliation with them through negotiation and relationship management; *Develop and manage the GIS school planning system ensuring development and maintenance of required application systems and databases to support operation and management of the schools.
