Description
To monitor and conduct the Government Liaison activities for foreign employees in ADEC ensuring that all visa and immigration issues are resolved in an efficient manner to enable employees to focus on their core education responsibilities. *Manage and complete all necessary procedures and documentation to secure the ability of all foreign employees to work in the Emirate and enable them to focus on their core education responsibilities in ADEC; *Coordinate with new employees before their arrival in the Emirate to discuss visa and immigration issues and maintain relationships during employment to ensure all required documentation is maintained appropriately; *Complete all necessary transactions and paperwork in Arabic for government entities as required in the Emirate and ensure frequent communication with individuals in these Departments to ensure all immigration, labour and finance requirements are met; *Manage and file all documents pertaining to the employment of foreign nationals in ADEC including visas, sponsorship information, labor cards, licenses and permits, ensuring copies sent to all relevant parties and allowing the prompt resolution of any issues; *Maintain a database of all relevant information on foreign employees in ADEC including but not limited to all visas and residence permits showing; name of employee, Sector / Division, expiry date of visa / residency, renewal date of visa / residency, passport expiry date, home address, driving license, motor vehicle registrations; *Liaise with other government departments and perform additional tasks as they arise.
