Credentials
*A Bachelor Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent as a minimum; a Masters of Business Administration in Personnel / HR Management or equivalent preferred
•Certification in Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the Human Resource Certification (HRCI) or equivalent
Description To manage the activities related to acquiring, maintaining, motivating and retaining employees, implementing a system that performance manages all employees and sets development criteria to ensure the long term career progression for employees. *Assist in the development of functional competency matrices and performance appraisal system (in coordination with the Division Heads) and link performance management to appraisal system; supervise the creation of the annual appraisal calendar and ensure that all appraisals are executed within the specified timeframe; *Coordinate with the Department of Civil Services to ensure that ADEC’s performance management process functions are within the framework defined for all Government Departments in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi; *Resolve problems related to appraisals, such as employee requests for re-evaluation, and ensure that these issues are handled in the correct way; *Ensure the successful definition and maintenance of job families and job categories and ensure that they conform to ADEC’s HR policies (in coordination with Department of Civil Services (DSC); *Assist in the development criteria and targets to assess employees using competency matrices; *Continually evaluate employee development needs, develop staff career plans and track employee progression; *Assist in development and update annual appraisal process & guidelines and manage the appraisal process.
