Credentials *A Bachelor Degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance and Accounting or equivalent as a minimum
*Certification in Accounting Qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CPP, CFA) or Master degree in a related major preferred. Description To manage and oversee the Budgeting & Management Reporting Section by assuming overall responsibility for the Section’s functions and activities and ensuring they are performed according to the overall guidelines prescribed by the Department of Finance, and that adequate support is provided to ADEC’s core functions. *Oversee the preparation of ADEC’s annual budget and consolidate the financial needs, in coordination with the Integrated Strategic Planning and Performance Management team;*Prepare the Division’s financial statements in accordance with Accounting standards:
*Oversee the preparation and publishing of month and year-end closing activities schedule; coordinate and control closing activities;
*Ensure the General Ledger accounts are maintained and reconciled for all the Divisions and ensure adjustments from inventory are reflected in the General Ledger;
*Oversee the preparation and distribution of internal general Ledger reports.
