In this role you will be responsible to operate all inventory control functions, maintain continuous supply of product, maximise customer satisfaction, maintain harmonious relationships with Principals and achieve all budgeted objectives; in regard to all products managed within the Al Futtaim Motors National Parts Portfolio. To assist and support the Inventory and Operations Supervisor and the Operations and Development Manager in processing orders to Principals, following policies and coordinating activities within the division. To ensure that tasks and duties are performed effectively and efficiently.

Key Accountability

To work within the annual Purchase and COS Budgets for AFM Parts activities.
To maintain harmonious relationships with customers, department, group, company, service providers and suppliers to assist and ensure the company objectives are achieved.
To constantly analyse the stock replenishment recommendations provided by the department systems to ensure the accuracy items and their respective quantities are justified and correct.
To ensure that Branch and Bulk Special Orders are in compliance with company and supplier standards and guidelines.
To ensure that accurate purchase conditions are maintained in the system at all times to ensure accurate costing of stocks.
To manage and control, in support of the Inventory and Operations Supervisor and the Operations and Development Manager, the national Parts Inventory so as to promote maximum customer service satisfaction, profitability to the company and at minimum stocking costs, (within budget).
To assist AFM Parts Branches in achieving maximum sales with minimum stock, through lead time optimisation, accurate inventory and sell one / buy one, daily replenishment.
To facilitate an environment within the department that actively pursues and stimulates a continuous improvement philosophy.
To assist and advise Parts Branch personnel on Parts technical issues.
To assist Parts Branch personnel with Parts Catalogue interpretation.
Periodically, the job holder may be required to attend specific training and/or meetings with suppliers and/or service providers.
To share knowledge, know-how and market intelligence with other AFM Parts personnel.
To attend and actively participate in Teketsu workgroups and develop kaizen activities utilising the PDCA strategy.
skill set

To be successful in winning this role, you will be:

You must be a UAE National (Emirati) and able to provide supporting documentation
Strong Communication skills in both Arabic and English
Diploma, Degree or equivalent in Inventory Control Executive - Parts
Minimum 3 years in Material Management / Forecasting environment
A sound understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel packages required
SAP Production Type experience would be preferred
A working knowledge of Dealer Management Systems would be advantageous.
