job description

To develop and brand HBMeU publications and Arabization policies, practices and procedures, products and services.
- To develop comprehensive (PIS) Publications Information System and (PMS) Publications Management System.
- To supervise the e Publishing, e Journals and e CAPI Portals.
- To plan, organize and administer HBMeU publications and Arabization processes.
To continuously develop and update publishers, translators and interpreters’ database.
- To enhance in cooperation with scholarly editors and societies, HBMeU editorial policies, goals, strategies, schedules and other appropriate elements.
- To provide technical support for the publication , translation and archiving of HBMeU Conference Proceedings, Working Papers, Journals, Digests, and Newsletters.
- To provide quality interaction with HBMeU local and international customers and partners.
- To actively participate in publishing and translation forums, e conferences and other activities.
- To establish and maintains cooperative working relationships with publishing and translation institutions partnering with HBMeU.
- To work collaboratively with intellectual property institutions and comply with copyrights’ policies and procedures to honor HBMeU rights and duties.
- To serve as HBMeU representative on publications and translation committees and other activities as appropriate to assignment.



skill set

PhD degree or a Masters Degree in related field from an Accredited Univ. with a minimum of 5 years proven track record of o/s achievements in a similar position with leading academic and research institutions (Gulf country experience is essential).
- Integrated Analytical, Research Software, excellency in Writing & Verbal Skills Arabic and English. Also Adequate IT Knowledge is desirable
