job description
The jobholder is responsible for assessing and underwriting new business, endorsements and renewals in accordance with the established Company procedures and standards up to the assigned limit.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Take underwriting decisions up to the assigned financial authority
2. Liaise with Third Part Administrators, reinsurance and claims for service delivery issues
3. Assist in providing an accurate, high quality and speedy underwriting service that builds customer relations and credibility
4. Provide quotes to brokers / third parties / customers based on risk price analyses
skill set
Knowledge and Skill Set:
• Strong Interpersonal and team building skills
• Strong Knowledge of Microsoft office
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent Customer service orientation
• Written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic (preferable) Strong
Qualifications: - Graduate degree preferably in Science, Insurance, Risk management,
Accountancy, Law. Business Admin, Economics.
Compensation & Standard Benefits:
Salary: As per Company standards
Timings: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, 5 Days / Week (Friday & Saturday is a Holiday)
30 days annual vacation at the end of 12 months with 1 months gross salary + Cash = Air Ticket fare to Cairo, Egypt.
Medical & Group Life Insurance for Self Only
Performance based Annual bonus & Annual salary Increments
Training & Certification both in Insurance & Personal development (Internal & External)
To be registered with the Pension Authority for UAE nationals as per the UAE Law
