role purpose: The position is responsible for the development, implementation and management of internal audit projects, and the evaluation and improvement of the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes. duties & responsibilities: * Work in partnership with management to design and implement cost effective procedures to ensure that Internal controls are effective for reliable financial reporting, safeguard the company’s assets, provide for efficient processes and procedures and achieve regulatory compliance. * Perform special projects at the request of management including fraud investigations and due diligence. * Promote internal audit as a value add to the organisation and deliver Audit services that consistently improve the control environment and achieve operational excellence. * Provide business insight and communicate all Audit related issues to executive management and as appropriate, the Audit committee. Provide insight and contributions to the company’s enterprise risk management. * Ensure company values and Code of Business Conduct are reflected in employee Decision making and action

education, experience & skills:

* Qualified accountant with practice background. * 5 years minimum experience in internal audit preferably in the Real Estate or Media environment. * ICAEW/ACCA/CPA/CIA certificates are an advantage.

* Must have the proven ability to work well with senior operations executives, leveraging strong intellectual, conceptual and analytical skills. * Presence, credibility and communication skills (written and verbal) are required to influence others at all levels within the organisation. * Good organising skills. * Ability to prioritise workload. * Extensive experience in multi tasking. * Outstanding attention to detail and a quick thinking approach. * Strong writing competency is essential. * Must be able to stand strong in difficult circumstances that may be critical of company” processes and procedures. * Strong sense of customer service is essential.
