Public Relations Coordinator Department of Municipal Affairs

Coordinate the communication and dissemination of latest DMA news/activities/initiatives to all PR & Communication related entities and stakeholders.
? Coordinate publicity and detailed information (e.g. logistics) of campaigns, programmes / events and activities/initiatives of DMA to the relevant Directorate entities and stakeholders;
? Act as a local point of contact on issues regarding DMA programs and campaigns for stakeholders and all PR & Communication contacts;
? Coordinate the preparation of materials for events (PR events, exhibitions, seminars, conferences, lectures, and presentations, etc.) to promote the activities/initiatives of DMA to stakeholders and other related entities as developed by the Manager - PR & Communications;
? Coordinate with the Specialist - PR & Communications on dissemination of press releases, news articles, letters to the editor, public messages, and other awareness messages relevant to the respective event/promotion
? Prepare and coordinate DMA related campaigns and events;
? Research and develop new innovative methods to enhance the flow of information between DMA and stakeholders/public/employees etc.;
? Liaise with relevant stakeholders to locate any issues or problems regarding DMA activities/initiatives and report them to the Manager - PR & Communications;
? Obtain feedback from the general public, PR & Communications, stakeholders and regulatory bodies regarding the effectiveness of the activities/initiatives conducted/undertaken by DMA;
? Receive external visitors, guests and public observers and perform hospitality duties as required by the job;
? Prepare feedback and status reports to the Manager - PR & Communications;
? Perform such other duties as assigned by the Manager - PR & Communications.
